When adversity came like a good warrior you went through it, Officer Cook, to defend the residents of Dade County. You surely never shirked nor ran from evil you went to the very source shielding mankind from its awful rages while sacrificing your own heart and soul for us to live on to embellish and to endeavor as you so faithfully did for six years, twenty-five years spent on this earth giving hope and honor to the less unfortunate people that in of itself says what a man you were. A person of class, determination, decency and pure desire were on the streets doing their utmost for us to function. Your family continues your legacy where dignity, commitment and integrity were blessed by Our Master and where humility, heart and pride were always serving with loyalty and esteem. The gratefulness of humanity which saw you demonstrate the highest of morals, ethics and principles for a reason. Why you were taken so suddenly only God knows and for what that man who took your life no one could have gotten into his brain to stop him for such a monsterous act of heinousness.
