Serenity and its security can be surreal at times. The years of your all too short life, Officer Cook, were well spent and surely well revered among your brave and honored colleagues of loyalty, faithfulness, hope and goodwill. Mankind was the location where dignity, integrity and character reached their stakes of serious engagement upon the will of Dade County and its folks. You surely will never be out of sight and mind from your beloved family, friends and devoted comrades who too exhibited the very same sacred heroism as you so humbly displayed. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. Respect can raise the masses from the doldrums of both bedlam and its associated chaos.

Composure and calmness during a storm of violent evil being carried out by a wayward man, all for what purpose? Your life and solid career, Officer Cook, defending Dade County were disrespected, but your heroic name and humility, honor and integrity will never be tarnished nor debased. So thoughtful, so truthful and fully embodied to lead other fellow officers through danger is how you are going to be best memorialized. Sincere and always a polite smile and a warm greeting. Our safety and passions were yours too. Tragically they were usurped by a violent man. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.

Light travels down from the beautiful skies warming humanity with a touch of gentle grace. Your gumption and totally unwavering gallantry, Officer Cook, was one of the first bright spots Dade County folks witnessed. The exhibition of effort and energy exercised upon a location to construct those bonds of tranquility and liberty. Freedom to move about is somewhat restricted due to crime and this invisible virus plagging mankind. But, thankfully your vision, smartness and alertness provided the proper pictures of spot on character and consistancy. Never forgotten and forever mature beyond the crowd. A hero is built from decency, dignity and for sure clear wisdom and desire. Then the chains of honesty and integrity create that unbreakable bond of bravery. Everything, Officer Cook, was pointing upward.
