Your humane gallantry, Officer Cook, surely staved off more adversity for Dade County on May 16, 1979 than ever. A resourceful young man, a public servant who took his position most seriously. Honor, dignity and integrity are agents in the fields of ferocity not to be ignored nor disrespected. Your days, months and years were all important and heroically notable in this monsterous effort to get wickedness under control. I read where your former boss Chief Dale Bowlin passed.
