I never got a chance to know you Officer Casner. I drove past the streets that bear your name and your final resting place often when I was in high school.
Everyone in Berlin.. the fireman.. the police.. and the citizens, they are greatful for your service.
As I direct traffic as a police officer now, I remember your sacrifice and try to be extra cautious.
Thank you Officer Jeffery Casner. Rest in peace.

Although I never knew you your sacrifice will not be forgotten by any officer, no matter where they are.
