My Condolences to the Smith Family
I was deeply heartbroken to learn that we’ve lost another brother in our law enforcement family to such a senseless act of violence. The pain is even greater knowing this tragedy occurred so close to home, right here in our own state.
Though I never had the honor of personally knowing Officer Smith, I had seen him several times on duty while visiting patients at WakeMed in Garner, NC. His presence and dedication to serving the community were evident to all who crossed his path.
My heartfelt prayers go out to the Smith family during this time of unimaginable loss. May God grant you strength, peace, and comfort in the days ahead. I also extend my deepest condolences to the entire WakeMed Hospital family and to all who had the privilege of serving alongside Officer Smith.
Rest in peace, Brother. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace brother Smith. Your time here is done, and you have done well.
Odin has welcomed you to Valhalla, a magnificent hall where Einherjar go after their death in battle.
You will feast and fight alongside Odin against the forces of chaos for the preparation of Ragnarök.
Thank you for your service to your community.
You are gone, but will never be forgotten in spirit.
Blessings to your family, friends, co-workers and the rest of the public safety family.
We are in this together, as few have forgotten that freedom is not free.
Rest easy knowing we got you covered.

The tragedy of Officer Smith life being taken has left us all empty. He put himself between us and danger, and for that I am eternally Grateful. He walked a Blue Line that is very Thin. His years of service reflect his dedication to protecting others. Lord, put Your arms around His Family, Fellow Officers and Friends in these days to come. God Bless You All!!!

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
