My heart is hurting today due to this tragedy. Det. Emenheiser accepted the call, as all three of these officers did, to stand between us and danger. For that I am eternally Grateful. Lord watch over His Familt, Fellow Officers, and Friends in the days ahead ans surround them with Your Love. May His dedication live on. The Blue Line They Walk is Very Thin. God Bless You All!!!

I didn’t know these officers but I knew there were heroes out there risking their lives so that our citizens were safe. Thank you for your service and sadly your ultimate sacrifice. May God hold you and your families in his loving arms and give you eternal peace and comfort. I'll never forget prosecuting cases with Isaiah Emenheiser in York County. He was the Affiant for a DUI jury trial that we had in 2019. I don't remember him smiling very often, but I'll always remember the giant smile on his face during my closing argument as I told the Jury that his professional traffic stop of an impaired driver likely prevented a tragedy on the roads. Needless to say, we got a guilty verdict. Emenheiser was a force to be reckoned with. Godspeed.
