My sincerest condolences to your family Alex. I still can’t believe you’re gone, that I will never see your smiling face when I stop by to see the guys at roll call. I’m glad I got that hug from you earlier this year. I’m honored to have had a chance to work with you and get to know you as a friend. You were so nice and such a genuinely kind man. You were so loved by all of us in Solos and will greatly be missed Alex. Heaven gained a wonderful angel. Rest easy brother.

Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our brother-in-blue, Senior Police Officer Alex Roberts, of the Houston TX Police Department, was suddenly and violently taken from us in a traffic collision, on his departmental motorcycle, in the line-of-duty. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and comrades by the power and protection of the cross. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. By His mighty and holy Name, and by His Authority and His Sacrificial Blood, I pray. Amen.
Please find Support, Comfort, and Hope with the following Scripture Verses taken from the Law Enforcement Officer's Christian Standard Bible:
[Jesus taught:] "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons [children] of God." (Matthew 5:9), and;
[Jesus taught:] "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4).
