The city of Robstown lost a Giant in the Robstown community. Lt. Stout was the definition of how every cop should wear and represent the badge. My prayers are with his family and the entire Robstown Police Department.

Today, we pause to honor and remember a true guardian of our community — a police officer whose 31 years of service were marked by courage, dedication, and sacrifice. For more than three decades, he stood as a steadfast protector, answering calls in the darkest hours, offering comfort to those in need, and upholding the law with integrity and compassion.

His commitment was more than a career — it was a calling. Through countless challenges and changes over the years, he remained a constant source of strength, not only for his fellow officers but for the entire community he served. He wore the badge with honor, understanding that it symbolized trust, responsibility, and selflessness.

May we never forget his service, his sacrifice, and the heart with which he served for 31 years.

It was an honor to work alongside a leader like Lt Stout for 20 years at Robstown PD. A few of many memories I have of Lt. Stout are whenever I went to Lt. Stout with a question, he would often give me an off-the-wall answer with a completely straight face, then break into a laugh before offering solid guidance as a leader. Lt. Stout was a serious person but he also had a playful side, able to take a joke and toss it right back without missing a beat. RIP Lt Stout

Lieutenant Stout, a police officer, should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your 31 years of commitment to law enforcement, your family, and the Robstown Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace, Brother!

Heavenly Father, You are Compassionate and Merciful. None of America's Peace Officers leave home without the fear of not returning at the end of their watch. It is a fear that is lived daily. Unfortunately, the worst does sometimes come to pass, and lives are left shattered. Lord God, bless and keep the hearts and souls of those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. Wipe away the tears from their eyes. Soothe their pain and bind up their emotional wounds through the wounds of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His Mighty and Holy Name, and by His Authority, I pray. Amen.

Please find Comfort, Support, and Hope from the Law Enforcement Officer's Christian Standard Bible:

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." (Matthew 5:9)

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)

Lt. Stout was a man who had a servants heart to his core. He walked with integrity, humility, and character. It is a great loss to his family, this agency, community, all who knew him, and an even greater loss to those that will not have the opportunity to meet such a man. He exuded humility, friendship, and strength. He gave respect to all and was the first one to have your back regardless the time. He was always listening to his radio monitoring his city, (even when he should of been sleeping). Lt. Stout will be greatly missed. A truly exceptional one has left us.
