The passing of Detective Victor Lemus is truly heartbreaking, devastating, especially knowing he was dedicating his time to training so he could proactively protect others. It’s difficult to imagine the pain his family and officers are going through, as he was someone who showed up every day with courage, valor, and commitment. Furthermore , his 22 years of service and a family deeply devoted in law enforcement, Detective Lemus truly lived a life covered in love, loyalty, and purpose. His passing leaves an irreplaceable space in the hearts of those who knew him and in the community he worked so hard to keep safe. We honor him not only as a detective, but as a person who gave so much of himself to others.

I just wanted to thank you for your service and everything you did for this state. May the Lord bless your soul and bless your family for their troubles and that they may be no longer troubled by the little and huge "walls" in life.
Proverbs 28:1: "The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions." You were as bold as a lion and you put your life on the line. Isaiah 57:1-2: "Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die." You passed away early, because this is all part of the Lord Almighty's plan. But whatever satan does for evil, God turns into good.
