Sir, the impact you have left on law enforcement but especially the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is undeniable and felt by every single person. Your name is brought up often, as everyone who knew you ensures your memory stays alive. The deputy, person, and friend you were is so highly respected and serves as a model for everyone to follow. It is inspiring to see and hear how people remember you, and personally, it makes me stand a little taller as I hope to wear the same badge you did. I hope to make half the impact you have on my partners, my community, and all those around me. Thank you for your service.

Deputy Clinkunbroomer,
It’s been 2 years since the tragic accident, and you will never be forgotten. A good friend of yours DI Deputy Lopez still struggles talking about the incident and today, we took some time to honor your sacrifice and service to LASD. Watching Deputy Lopez speak you can feel every word he said and the loss of a good friend.
Thank you Deputy Clinkunbroomer for your service and you will never be forgotten.

Though we do not understand why awful things happen I truly believe that there is a Godly purpose behind everything. I never met nor spoke with Ryan, however I feel like I lost a friend. The feeling of family and belonging I made from being apart of this department will go with me for the rest of my life. To Ryan's family and friends I grieve alongside you and will never forget Ryan. Rest easy brother.
