I served with SSgt Harris in the 978th MP Co. at Palmerola AB. I was on duty when this happened. And I’ve never forgotten it. I was a soldier that needed direction and SSgt Harris was starting to take me under his wing. Then he was gone. I can’t believe it’s going on 38 years. RIP.

I served with SSG Harris in Honduras in 1987. I was a 19 year old private with the 978th MP Co that night. A good man was taken way too soon. I think about you often. Gone but definitely not forgotten, Heroes live forever! Rest in Peace Brother.
