To Ashley's family, her Brothers and Sisters in blue and to her friends: There is a Hero and Sister missing in our hearts and in our ranks. Our prayers go out to all of you. It doesn't matter if it's your first day, last day or are retired ,you are always a part of the Thin Blue Line and all of us has lost another part of our heart. May God and his angles wrap you in his arms and their wings. You are now and forever protected. May your fellow officers who were with you feel God's healing hands upon them in the struggles before them. And may God's light shine up all in law enforcement and give you the strength to carry the load that is asked of each and every one of us. God Bless you all.
Rest in Peace Sister, your load has now been lifted. Your final EOW was called by God, to walk the streets of heaven with the Hero's who have gone before you and welcome you with open arms.

our police do so much for so little.. this is a great tragedy for all citizens and of course her family.. our thoughts and support go out to all policemen/policewomen who keep us safe in our beds.. without them there would be anarchy.. let's show our support for the police.. my own daughter will soon be entering this profession in a few months. and I am worried a lot about the situations she will be facing but I know she will make a difference like Officer Guindon. this is a tremendous tragedy for us all.

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good (wo)men do nothing.”
Officer Guindon was clearly not one to do nothing. She joined the fight, put on the uniform, and sacrificed her young life in an effort to serve and protect.
My condolences to her family, law enforcement family, and friends.
