Sister Orozco, you lived as a hero. Your death is a tragedy felt across the True Blue Line and the nation. Rest easy, fellow sheepdog. You have more than earned your place in paradise. We have the watch from here.

To the Orozco family: Your wife, your mother, your daughter, your sister was a hero. I sincerely hope that anguish of your loss can be in some way lessened with the knowledge that she devoted her life to the service of others. Nothing can replace what you have lost and you have my sincere condolences. Everyone who walks the blue line stands with you in your sorrow.
