My heart goes out to the Pagerly family. I lost a daughter many years ago and from time to time I still feel the pain.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kyle. I have worked in law-enforcement for 23 years and consider Kyle a true law-enforcement professional. I was truly impressed the first time I met Kyle about three years ago. I would tease him, because he wore many "hats". Kyle had the right to wear those "hats" with pride. Kyle was always dedicated and focused on the task at hand. Kyle was knowledgeable, humble, honorable and a hard worker. We need more men like Kyle in law-enforcement.
I also had the pleasure of riding road bicycles with Kyle last Saturday; we did about 31 miles. It was a lot of work for me to keep up with Kyle; he was nothing but speed on that bicycle.
Pagerly family, I'm praying for you all. May God's strength and peace be with you all in this time of great loss and sadness. May your hearts be carried by God's loving spirit through this surreal tragedy.
Kyle will be missed by many . . .
~ PEACE ~

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray:
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Just know every day, when I place that badge on my chest and that gun on my hip that you will not be forgotten and have a special place in my heart. I will promise you that i'll do my job in the same honor and integrity that you have accomplished everything in your life.

Kyle you were a motivating factor in my life, and another reason why I want to have a career in law enforcement. You were someone I could talk to about anything. You were a model officer, great husband and a true friend. You were someone I knew would never lead me astray. I can't begin to think about all the times we'd sing "You've lost that love and feeling" We could never get the verses right but who cared. You impacted my life more then you knew. Rest easy my brother, God and St. Michael are with you now. I will miss you. Its not how you died that makes you a hero...its how you lived.
I will miss you my friend...till we meet again.
