What has this world come to? Such a senseless killing! I come from a big family law enforcement officers and this is such devastating news for our entire state and country. Peace be with Officer Moore and his family, friends and entire law enforcement family. He's no doubt in a better place now, but for sure we will never forget his dedication to Indianapolis. God Bless You Brother!

INDIANA DEPT. OF CORRECTION

I was a former 911 disaptcher in Florida and now reside in Indianapolis. It is always so hard to hear about the loss of anyone but when it's law enforcement it's even harder. They go out there everyday put their lives on the line for each and everyone of us. I have lost many offiers in the line of duty. It is also something that you never forget.Everytime I hear of another fallen officer it just brings back the memories of all of the Officers & Deputies that I use to dispatch for that have passed away and the ones that are still patroling the streets today. Please God look after the ones that are still here and your Angels that are no longer with us. To David's family my prayers are with you. May the organs that he donated help so many that are in desperate need at this time. He has saved many lives even though he is not here to see it.

In valor there is hope. There was never any doubt of Dave's Warrior Spirit or in his love for not only his Bothers of the Badge but for all the good citizens of this city. Dave never hesitated to come to the aid of anyone who needed it. I will miss you my Brother. We had some hairy times but you were always ther for me. Take it easy on your new beat of the golden streets of Heaven. I know you will keep an eye on all of us as we keep your Warrior Spirit alive in each of us.

Dave,
It was an honor to have the chance to work with you. God definetley broke the mold after he made you. You were a awesome police officer with a work ethic like no other. I will never forget a couple of years ago when you went down-home to my families thanksgiving. You were an instant hit everyone who met you loved you. You must have spent an hour on the porch talking to my Dad. Then you were outside playing tag w the kids and I. After you left my Dad kept saying what a fine young man you were and kept telling me to bring you back to chat. You would be so proud of your parents I have never seen two people with so much strength. Even in their terrible grief they are so caring about everyone else. Until we meet again. We have the watch from here.

Thank you David for your service you will be greatly missed. Men like you are an amazing gift to our lives and so many people take your service for granted never thinking how much it may cost you and your family. WE know the cost and share in the pain of your famlies loss - But we also know that many wonderful people will hold up our family as they grieve your loss and rebulid their lives. They did for us and we will for them as well.
I want The Moore's to know that as survivors we have seen and felt your families commitment to us - your service is outstanding and even though I have not met David I am SURE he was an amazing man that lived his life by your stong examples. Great Job to live and share your wonderful gifts and thank you for sharing your most percious one with so many, he will not be forgotten and neither will you.
