and sometimes I've been violent

I am now the Director of Security for The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. I spent several days with Buddy prior to and during an Al Gore visit. He was a great guy and we would sit in his car, watching the rain and reflecting on the career of law enforcement. Although only a few days, I'll always remember Buddy and that time in the rain in Arizona.

I knew "Buddy" through a friend of mine and when I heard of his passing today I was shocked and deeply saddened. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends who had the privledge of knowing him more personally. When I learned that you died so tragically, I grieved, but when I learned that you died a hero, I wasn't surprised.
