gary,

I have alot of family in chesterfield and i just heard of your death. My mother is a police officer in Michigan and just thinking about how she couldn't come home one day bothers me sometimes. You made a great sacrifice, thanks for protecting my family and friends.

Thanks for your service, it's a shame that I didn't say this message earlier. This tragedy at least has taught me to never take life for granted and that it's important to thank our local police officers for all they do for the community.

Rest in peace Gary.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Matthew 5:9. Gary was always there with a joke or grin to brighten your day. Heartbreaking to hear of the trials in this life; rest in peace, in God's arms, with your loves ones, knowing you will always be remembered.

Dear Gary,
I can't express how lucky I feel to have met you and talked with you last year. I know you meant the world to Chris and after all of the wonderful stories he's shared with me about you, I feel as though I know you even more. So many people had so many nice things to say about you. You are a true hero. I know that you are in a better place now and that you will be looking down on us from above. I promise to take care of Chris and make the most of each and every day that God gives me.
