ONLY THE BEST

One heart of gold stopped beating
Two shinning eyes at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best

God knows you had to leave us
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day he took you home

To some they may forget
To others part of the past
But to those of us who knew you
Your memory will forever last

May the Lord bless your family and all your loved ones. May he also grant them the strength and love that they will need to continue in your absence. You have paid the ultimate price for serving your community and trying to make it a better place for all to live in. Now you will reap the Lords ultimate blessing and continue your patrol on the streets of Heaven. May justice be served swiftly.

It's a sad day to hear that another Brother Warrior has fallen doing what he lived for, Serving and Protecting. My prayers go to another fallen family member, for when one hurts, we all hurt, when one cries, we all cry. To his wife and family, try and take comfort in knowing that Brother Scott is still Serving and Protecting although his beat has changed, his new beat is Heaven's Streets and his partner is St. Michael. Brother Scott you will not be forgotten. God Bless you, your family and your friends.

I do not know Jason's Mother, but I share her pain. Like her, my son and daughter-in-law, both Police Officers went to work this morning. but this day, they came home. You have experienced a Mother's worst nightmare and I understand the horror of that dreaded call. My heart goes out to you.

For many years

Officer Scott stood the watch
While some of us were in our beds at night
He stood the watch
While some of us were in school learning our trade
He stood the watch
Yes.. Even before some of us were born into this world
He stood the watch
In those years when the storm clouds of crime were
brewing on the horizon of our community
He stood the watch
So our fellow citizens could sleep soundly in safety,
each and every night
Knowing that this officer stood the watch
Today we are here to say
Officer Scott... The watch stands relieved
Relieved by those you have trained ,guided, and lead
Officer Scott you stand relieved.. We have the watch..."
