Reflections for Police Officer James B. Gilbert
TO my fallen brother. My heart goes out to your family, friends and Norfolk Police. The City of Norfolk lost a fine police officer on 9-28-01. It doesn't seem fair that your life has to end so short, However, the memory will remain in honor forever. I will be there in Norfolk with my full honor guard uniform on to show support and graditude in honor of your service. May you rest in peace and God watch over your family.
Detective Joseph Price
Chesapeake Police, Chesapeake, Va.
To Officer Gilbert
sadly we have lost another officer in the line of duty. so many put their lives on the line each and every day.It was a sad way for officer Gilbert to go. But he was a hero by saving the rest of his fellow officers. He will not be forgotten for his sacrifice. But may God bless you and your family and friends. May you rest in peace brother.
Explorer Lieutenant Phil McGuire
Monterey County Sheriffs Department
When will these senseless acts ever end? To the family, friends and colleagues of Ofc Gilbert, always remember the good times. That should bring a smile to ones face during these tough times.Take care of each other and keep your chin up.
