Just wanted you and your family to know that I will never,ever forget you.When I started my Law Enforcement Career in 1980 you were my first F.T.O.
I really learned a lot about being a cop.You told me(Forget About All You Learned At The Academy.I Will Teach You How To Be A Cop Now)I was assigned to the Marietta Cobb D.U.I.Task Force the night you crashed.I was right behind Jerry after we were both shot at and we could hear you on the radio coming to assist.We never knew you crashed until after we had the bad guy in custody.I think about it a lot I guess as time goes on and I get older.Just felt like putting something here.See you again one day my friend.
