Unsightly and unmitigating evil already rules some parts of our humanity. Your hunches and ingenuity, Officer Cook, took control that awful day though your department and family lost a good man and a most honorable and heroic son due to one man's stampedes of senselessness. Dade County was and still is in good hands. It had your soul of serenity and heavenly tranquility protecting them as well as character and achievement that maturity, wisdom and dignity help in accentuating during tumult and havoc. Metro-Dade Police Department was honored to have a hero such as yourself fighting and giving your all in energy and efficiency to honorably discharge your sacred obligations toward Dade County and its residents. Your words emanating from your lips were trustworthy, truthful and loyal as you dignified humility and intensity in all your courageousness. Composed, cool and relatively calm during duress and tense moments when violence struck and shook at the heart of peace and togetherness. Domestic violence is no doubt ruining and vile. It caused such a ghastly scene that day you gave your life, Officer Cook, forty years ago and never forgotten. Never overlooked for maturity, wisdom and the vocations of vigilance and vigor. Only now and forever etched on walls of honor and sanctity, the serenity of humility nestled above in God's heroic lairs of angels, heroes and heroines with wings fitted to soar to the highest of destinations.
