Holding down those forts of honor, the pressure keeps mounting on the backs of brave and honest women and men, servants of decency, dignity and sincerity whose loyalty spreads far out. Dade County could never repay it debt of gratitude to a hero such as yourself, Officer Cook. You were that consummate professional, esteemed and endearing who raised those bars of resolve and resilience every moment. Heroes and heroines shall not be overlooked nor put aside for their special virtues of love remain undying, unselfish and unwavering all these many decades later. Callous convictions stoke those fires of fury and must be permanently extinguished by loyal, humble, heroic and honorable women and men so essential to society's visions for a safer and more healthy future. Everything was looking positive until that awful day of May 16, 1979 when domestic violence threatened Dade County and you took charge, Officer Cook, trying to stop a literal mad man from harming those who you served and protected in a most assuredly resourceful manner. God implanted the seeds of humility, integrity and dignified character within your virtuous heart and soul and you my neighbor, friend and hero rescued your comrades under fire who nearly died and those in danger throwing yourself right into the pits of peril. Liberty city can be known sadly as a hotbed for evil and badge#1664 respected its roles of leadership with steadfast dedication,determination and the sincerity of devotion. Rest in peace.
