Though I read, Officer Cook, that you did want to leave street patrol because of the dangers and join the crime scene squad where your photography skills would be an asset. You were fearless, ferocious in your dogged pursuits of evil and for installing peace, safety and security within each residence here in Dade County where you served with appreciation, goodwill and loyalty beyond what is demanded from all who don a uniform and wear a badge of humility, heroism and heart. Your character, dignity and commitment to honesty and integrity was beyond reproach.
