Today we honor an officer whose final act was one of compassion and service. While helping a stranded motorist Corporal Reynolds was doing what he always did, putting others first—Corporal Reynolds was tragically taken from his family, friends and colleagues. His dedication, courage, and willingness to step into harm’s way reflect the very best of what it means to wear the badge.
We shall remember a protector who served with integrity and a heart for others. Our loss is profound, but his legacy lives on in the lives he has touched and the example he has set. May we carry Corporal Reynolds memory forward with gratitude and resolve. His watch has ended, but they will never be forgotten.

Corporal Reynolds, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your military and 3 years of commitment to law enforcement, your family, and the Delaware County Sheriff's Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Corporal Reynolds did what he did each day, He wore his uniform as Proud member for the State of Georgia. His death is scare on every family member who is a survivor of a loss blue line member. And it still hurts to see a man trying to help out another motorist, and this is one of many actions that Corp. Reynolds would do each say. I pray for his family and his team. Moreover, I would like to see a National Law that would make it mandatory law, that any person arrest in the act or, or anyone participating in death of officer would be life in Prison no Parole.
