Heavenly Father, I pray for the families of all America’s Peace Officers who have been killed in the Line-of-Duty and I thank you for their sacrifices. Bless the lives of their families so they might find healing. Help their law enforcement departments and agencies support their families. Even though their deaths might have been senseless, make something good come out of these situations so that their departments, agencies and communities, counties, states or nation, the United States of America, in which they lived and worked, might be stronger because of their lives and their deaths. In Christ Jesus’ mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.
God’s Mission for Law Enforcement:
“The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose.” (Romans 13:4 TLB)
Please find Comfort, Support, and Hope from the following Scripture Verses found in The Law Enforcement Officer’s Edition of the Christian Standard Bible:
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who should I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8),
[Jesus taught]: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons [children] of God.” (Matthew 5:9),
[Jesus taught]: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) and
[Jesus taught]: “No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13).
