Trooper Ricks served with courage and lived according to the high standards and principles established long ago by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. A young life short lived on this side, but our Heavenly Father needed another dedicated soldier with Him in Eternity. Though your earthly family will miss you, I pray that God’s Comforter the Holy Spirit be with them as He promised.

Trooper Ricks has left us all with a heritage of servitude. He accepted the calling to stand between us and danger. For that, I am eternally Grateful.
