Rest in PEACE Officer Wagner. Thank you for serving our country and the citizens of Lorain City and the City of Sheffield Lake. PRAYERS for your wife, CHILDREN, and your entire family.

My now 11 year old read this poem at the annual Cleveland Police Officer Badge Case Ceremony. My DAD and her would have been Grandfather was killed in the line of duty in 1974.

In uniform of blue, you stood so tall,
A protector of justice, answering the call.

Your footsteps echoed with a resolute beat,
A caretaker of justice up and down our streets.

Your courage knew no bounds, your heart was so pure,
A guardian of justice, steady and sure.

You walked the darkest streets, a shining light,
A defender of justice, throughout the blackest night.

With purely selfless acts and a moral creed,
A preserver of justice, with every single deed.

With compassion and bravery, you led the way,
A custodian of justice, watching over us each day.

So now we bid farewell to an officer so brave,
A champion of justice, in valour’s eternal grave.

GOD BLESS The Wagner Family and the entire Lorain Police Department!!

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation's brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities have been for sometime now and are currently on the brink of exploding with tension and unlawful wickedness. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies nationwide. O Lord, carry us through this time of trial, tribulation, and strife that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy Name, and by Your Authority, I pray for America's Fallen Peace Officers! Amen.

Praying that you will find some Comfort, Support, and Hope from the Law Enforcement Officer's Christian Standard Bible:

[Jesus taught:] "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." (Matthew 5:9);

[Jesus Taught:] "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs." (Matthew 5:10), and;

[Jesus Taught:] "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4).

May the Lord bless and keep his family wrapped in His arms and help them find peace and joy in the fact that he is resting in Jesus’ arms. We, too, have a son who was USAF military police, served with Plano PD, Tx and now a federal police officer. May God protect all those who serve and protect.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

PROTECTOR'S PRAYER

Lord, you have already won the battles I will face today.
I rest in your sovereignty knowing that you have appointed me for this duty.
The power that created everything lives in me through your holy spirit, let me fear nothing.
Give me the courage of David, strength of Samson and the grace of your son, Jesus.
While I am away protect my family, let me return unharmed. Prepare their hearts should today be the day I meet you face to face.
Let me serve the people of this blessed country and community with a servant's heart, being quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
Lord, you have given me great responsibility, help me to protect the vulnerable and innocent.
When the moment calls, allow me to show compassion and humility to those that cross my path.
When faced with evil, let my actions be definitive, impartial, and above reproach.
Protect my brother to my left and my sister to my right as we respond fearlessly, without hesitation to the unknown.
FOR HIS GLORY
