Rip. One of the most devastating losses is when an officer is killed by one of their own while on duty or training. Professional training is everything. Annual training certification and in service is paramount. Shift commanders of Lt. and above must brief officers before going in the field.Team members must be known to each other.Too many are lost this way.,stereotyping in law enforcement jobs has no place. In times of loss, we come together to honor the memory and service of those who have passed. It's a moment to reflect on the impact they've had on the lives of others, and the legacy they leave behind. Their dedication and service will always be remembered, and their spirit will continue to inspire. May comfort find its way to you and all those mourning this loss.
