When we put this uniform on, we aspect to return home the same way we left. Saying goodbye to our family members, clocking into work and getting ready for the unknown. Joking around with our co-workers as we meet up for coffee in the morning. Nothing is routine, our lives aren't guaranteed that we will make it home. But yet, we put our lives on the line to serve and protect unselfishly. May you rest in peace my brother in blue, you will be missed.#lastcallofservice

I actually worked with Helio Garcia at Best Buy 556 in Miami down in Cutler Bay Florida for many years and I Echo the sentiments of everybody who's spoken and who knew him as an honorable great friend human being, a great friend, selfless....God and family first and above all he lived his life with integrity. If you were going to go into battle he is definitely the one to want with you in the trenches. He will be severely missed. Prayers to his lovely family

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
