Most faithful God, lively is the courage of those who hope in You. Your servant, Senior Officer Specialist Louis Pepe, of the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons, who succumbed to injuries he received when he was attacked by an inmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center at 150 Park Row, Lower Manhattan, New York City, New York, on November 1, 2000, suffered greatly but placed his trust in your mercy. Confident that the petition of those who mourn pierces the clouds and finds an answer, I beg You, give rest to Senior Officer Specialist Louis Pepe. Do not remember his transgressions but look upon his sufferings and grant him refreshment, light and peace. In Christ Jesus' mighty and holy Name, and by His Authority, I pray. Amen.
