RIP SIR. YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

In times of loss, we come together to honor the memory and service of those who have passed. It's a moment to reflect on the impact they've had on the lives of others, and the legacy they leave behind. Their dedication and service will always be remembered, and their spirit will continue to inspire. May comfort find its way to you and all those mourning this loss.

Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our Brother-in-Blue, Sergeant Mark Butler, of the Navasota TX Police Department, was suddenly and violently taken from us; involved in a Motor Vehicle Collision in the Line-of-Duty. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the cross. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, and by His authority. Amen.

God's Mission for America's Peace Officers:

"For the policeman does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don't want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose." (Romans 13: 3-4 TLB)

God's Word of Support, Comfort, and Hope:

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."
(Matthew 5:9 CSB);

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who will I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me. (Isaiah 6:8 CSB);

"Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and staff - they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4 CSB), and;

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4 CSB).
