Lieutenant Meadows, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your military and 33 years of commitment to law enforcement, your family, and the Irondale Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace, Brother!

Very sad to hear of the loss of Lt. Meadows and condolences to his family, co-workers and friends. He is the definition of loyalty to his community, that after 30-years of service he was still looking for opportunities to help those in need, in this case putting out cones to protect those on-scene. Thank you for your dedication to your community and country.
