Reflections for Officer Phylicia Carson

I just recently started watching Ozark Law and loved the respect the officers all showed for the people they stopped as well as the people on the strip during events. Officer Carson made such an impression on me with her caring and professionalism with everyone she came in contact with as well as her care and concern for her fellow brothers and sisters in blue. I literally cried when I learned she had passed away in the pursuit to back up Officer Riner. My heart goes out to the Osage PD, sherif's department and Lake Ozark PD after her passing.
My prayers are with the family as the grief will be around for some time to come.

So sorry for her families loss including her police family. I can't imagine what her husband and children have gone through and will go through for the remainder of there lives. The show has made me feel like I know all the officers and it's gut wrenching to lose 1. All the best for her loved ones

Hello,
I’ve lived all over the world, and in the U.S. Mostly in Minneapolis (you know that story) I just started watching the HULU show. Living where I have, and where I do now in northern Minnesota, (the land of ten thousand lakes). Your staff is truly a great police force and entity! You are all the epitome of what a police dept should be! To protect and serve! Keep up the great, understanding and respectable work you all continue to do! I was very sad to hear about Officer Carsons death! So very tragic! If there is anything I could ever do to continue to support you all, PLEASE let me know! You're truly the BEST of the BEST!

BLESSINGS to you all, and be safe!

Who would have thought a reality tv show would have me in tears. Officer Carson was my favorite officer on Ozark Law. May she rest in heaven. I hope her husband, children and officer partner are ok.

Ozark Law brought a new perspective into reality television in that the officers in the show were invited into our homes on a weekly basis and I find it hard to articulate, but there is a feeling of familiarity/family.
Phylicia Carson was an original, she portrayed law enforcement with heart, compassion, and professionalism. The immeasurable loss to her family, friends, co-workers is unimaginable. Her faith in Christ is the only salve for her loss. Blessings to all, and may her memory live on!

My heart goes out to Officer Carson’s family. The show showed the world how Police officers truly are and Officer Carson showed that you could be a compassionate officer and have flair.
Even though I only knew her through the TV I wish there were more of her in policing.
Thank you for your service and hopefully more officers take your lead.

My deepest condolences to the family of Officer, Carson. I just watched the final episode. I had recorded it. When I read the description, I was afraid to watch it, because I had gotten so attached to all of the offices. I was so afraid to know who it actually was. To find out that it's Officer Felicia, I am weeping like I've lost a family member. She seemed to be an amazing officer, mother, friend and wife. Thank you for your kindness. Rest in peace, Officer Carson.

I just watched the episode of Ozark Law and learned of your passing. I couldn't help but sob. I know all too well of what the passing of a great LEO feels like and I don't wish it upon anyone. I know that my dear friend, Shane Britton EOW 07/19/2000 was there to welcome you home. My thoughts and prayers go out to your husband, 6 beautiful babies and to all of your brothers and sisters in blue. May you rest in peace, dear sister!

I first saw Officer Phycilia Carson when I started watching Ozark Law. I immediately connected with her because of her pink blinged out in car computer and her pink hand cuffs. She was a sweetheart when it came to dealing with people and always offering a way out of taking them to jail. She had such a light about her and she spoke often of her husband who was also in law enforcement in the neighboring county. She spoke of her 6 children which I share in common with 6 children grandchildren. During the last episode when she joined in a pursuit of an illegal drag racer who crashed into the guardrail. It was then when the officer who arrested the driver that I noticed him continue to ask about Officer Carson. When he couldn’t raise her he knelt and prayed. It was shortly after we were informed it was our sweet Phylicia who had perished. I broke down in tears as I thought of her infectious smile, her husband and her children. God needed a good officer and mother in heaven to take care of the other fallen officers, children and babies who went to heaven before her. I pray for her husband, her children and her fellow law enforcement family. She will be so very missed. As a retired firefighter/paramedic I’ve dealt many times with accidents involving law enforcement and those I knew. My heart goes out to all of you. May God give you strength, comfort and peace during these difficult times.

My wife and I were big fans of Ozark Law! We loved watching Officer Carson on there. Our hearts were broken learning that she had passed away in that fatal car accident.

May God heal the hearts of her family, friends, friends, and her fellow LEO’s brothers and sisters.

The loss of Officer Carson is without doubt heartbreaking for her family and community and also many of us who were blessed to “meet” her through Ozark Law. We may be strangers, but her candor and obvious love for her family and community endeared her to us quickly. It was a real joy to watch her work and see her desire to serve and protect . She was an admirable, down to earth example not just for women, but all who serve. I’m sure she will be sorely missed. Prayers for her family and her fellow officers.

Officer Carson was truly amazing. My wife truly loved her kindness, her humility, and yes, her pink handcuffs (pink is her favorite color).

We both cried at the loss of Officer Carson. As a family of law-enforcement and military we know the utter loss that one feels with the passing of a friend. We never knew her in person, but we feel like we got to know her through Ozark Law.

Our hearts go out to the Ozark PD, her family, and our law enforcement brethren around the country.

God Speed, Officer Carson.
