Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Matthew Eugene Yates
So so sad, and un-realized by the masses of americans out there who ALL need to subscribe to this site. I have often asked the harshest critics who have come at me, for my affiliation with Law Enforcement, if 'they relalize when they are tucked in their warm beds at 2 AM - the risk that the bravest men and women place themselves, when policing their communities ...and their answers are almost always silent.

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 NLT]
“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.” [Matthew 5:9 NLT]
“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” [John 15:13 NLT]
“God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 NLT]
