Reflections for Detective Elno Henry Jacobs

Elno was my Great Grandfather. His youngest son Donald was my Grandfather. I Would love to see his Badge if it still exists to pass the information and history down to my children. Our family Name is getting close to disappearing, and I want nothing more than to keep it alive.

Elmo Jacobs was my grandfather. This article is a little off. He was survived by his wife and four children. My dad was the oldest age 7 at the time. It is unjust the a wealthy man in Fond du Lac negotiated the Jones brothers release say they were poor and didn’t know my grandfather was with the law.

Why these men were acquitted is a mystery. I'm glad your sacrifice has been brought to light and you are honored here for helping to keep one of America's greatest assets, it's railroads, safe. Thank you for that, sir.

Detective Jacobs, God Bless you and may your continued rest be ever peaceful, Brother.
