Reflections for Sergeant Patrick Michael Sondron
Not a day goes by that I miss you dad! You didn’t deserve this! Hope you’re able to watch us from above! All three of us kids have kids of our own. You have total of five grandkids now. Wish you could meet my girls. Ever since my oldest became a daddy’s girl I have been feeling how you must’ve felt having to always be at work trying to provide for the family. The love and admiration I have for you! Just hope to be at least half the man that you were! Until we meet again dad.

This is my first time hearing about this in 2025, 9 years after this tragedy occurred. This was a vile, savage, ruthless and uncalled for attack on these two honorable men. They showed no signs of aggression or hostility towards their killer. He simply didn’t want to spend a little bit of time in the slammer, yet, committed such an atrocious act that would ultimately leave him caged up behind bars till his last breath with absolutely no chance of freedom ever again.
These 2 officers, Daryl and Patrick, were only doing their job, which was keeping the public safe from harm. They had families, they had regular lives outside of their line of duty. However, this disgusting waste of human flesh took the happiness, the laughter, the memories that could’ve and should’ve been made, the love, the lives, literally every single thing, not only from Daryl and Patrick, but from all of their family, friends and colleagues alike. Thank y’all for your incredible service and taking care of those in your county. Y’all both will never be forgotten.
I’m so incredibly sorry to both of the officers, all responding officers, everyone who worked at the peach county sheriffs office, their families, their friends and their loved ones. My heart goes out to you all.
Rest in Peace Patrick & Daryl.

Seargeant Sondron, i'm sorry for what happened to you on that day in 2016. You didn't have any reason to be killed, as that man was a coward and was senseless to do such a thing to you and your partner. And as a resident of georgia myself, i'd like to thank you for your service in the state of georgia, and your time in the U.S. Air Force aswell, which proved how dedicated you were along with your strength. But as i said before, the man who killed you and your fellow officer will receive his punishment once his time comes as karma for his actions, as he was a vile individual who was too blinded by his anger and hatred to not think correctly on what he was doing at the time. But as of now, may you rest in peace knowing your service is appreciated as an officer, an airforce veteran, and a man with dedication for his career to keep the residents of georgia safe. Rest Easy Mr Sondron.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:
“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for over five years. Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.
Our faith helps us to see beyond the grave.

Patrick and I were friends for over 13 years. We served on the Peach County SWAT team together for 8 years. He was a good operator and one of my team leaders. When you were on a call and you heard a door shut behind you, it was always a good feeling to know that Patrick was there to back you up even if you didn't expect him to be there. We'll miss you my brother but just know that we've got you're family's back and we'll try to pickup where you left off. That's some mighty big shoes for us to fill but we know you'd the same for us. Obviously, heaven needs a few good men too. You and Daryl hold the line there and we'll do the same here. Until we meet again Brother, watch over us and keep us safe.

God, filled with mercy, dwelling in the heavens' heights,
bring proper rest beneath the wings of your Lord,
amid the ranks of the holy and the pure,
illuminating like the brilliance of the skies the soul of Patrick Sondron who went to his eternal place of rest.
May You who are the source of mercy shelter him beneath Your wings eternally,
and bind his soul among the living, that he may rest in peace. And let us say: Amen.
