Reflections for Sheriff Dominick Cavanaugh

This is such a tragic death, all because someone didn't get what he wanted. Thank goodness he got what was coming to him and justice was seen to be done.
Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. After 126 years we still honor your service to the citizens of Dawson County. Montana.
Continue to rest in peace Sheriff Cavanaugh.

My great-great grandfather. This article doesn’t mention it, but the man who murdered Dominick was a political rival of his. Rest in peace.
