For Deputy Sheriff Grant Whitaker:

The risks that the law-officer takes while on patrol are many, but the vehicle in which he patrols also possesses a threat that must always be near to the conscious. Law-officers are counted in the cavalcade-of-carnage that occurs on our highways across the country, and on an annual basis. We regret that Grant would be counted among that tally for this year.
We pray for Grant's family, co-workers, friends, and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to his family in the days ahead.
