Reflections for Senior Deputy Jessica Laura Hollis

Jessica, it is a travesty to lose a brother or sister of blue at any time, and this is without exception. Your family, friends, colleagues, dispatchers, squad, and partner are going to continuously question themselves. Why did this happen, so as the true hero you are, shine a ray of light down on them and let them know you are still with all of them. We women of blue, are so few, so strong, they will need your support still. You are a true fighter, a true hero. I am truly sorry that you were alone in your final fight. Rest in Peace, your active brother and sister's of blue will take over from here. You rest easy now, the fight is over. To Jessica's family, friends, squad, and department I am truly sorry for your loss, and my thoughts are with you all. Stay strong.
