Master Trooper Walker, i'm sorry for what happened to you 12 years ago, as your death wasn't needed. The person who took your life was nothing short of an evil individual, as he was a devil in disguise. Thankfully however, in the state of Virginia, he's got no chance of ever being released; Not to mention that he was sentenced to 2 life terms plus an additonal 23, which i think it's safe to say he's been sealed away from society so that way he won't hurt anyone again. But other than that, i think your service to the state of virginia is Phenomenal. You spent 40 years as an officer for the state of Virginia, meaning you did so much in your career as an officer that you made sure it was secured and that everyone can go home safely with people like you protecting it. I think during those 40 years you truly were a hardworker, and you provided for your family along the way, along with serving and protecting your brothers and sisters, along with the citizens of Virginia. And not only did you serve your state and people, you also served your country by being in the U.S. Army Reserves, meaning you were more than just a man. You were one of the strongest men in Law Enforcement in my eyes, although i never met you, but i could tell you were truly a hero in alot of people's eyes. I think with the fact you spent most of your life doing the best you could to protect your people, all for it to be taken away is senseless, as i read you were close to retiring prior to your death. I think that had you not been taken away by some Evil and Crazy individual, you'd accomplish what you did in life, which was to make the state of Virginia safer and your family feel safe. I believe you did what most men couldn't do, which was to serve both your state and country at the same time, which takes alot of courage and dedication to do and manage, and at the same time have a family, meaning you were chosen by god to represent what it means to be a Master Trooper and a Man at the same time. But as for your killer however, i think with the way he cruelly executed you means he should've been put in the ground alot sooner, since he doesn't deserve justice for his unlawful actions. However, your family and everybody who knew you and met you can have a sense of justice knowing he is forever sealed away, and will face karma once his time comes to an end. Other than that, it won't ever change the fact you served your country and state with dedication and bravery, and you left a lasting impact on the Virginia State Police, and the citizens in its integrity. With all due respect, i salute you sir, for who you were, and as a soldier and trooper. But as of now, may you rest in peace knowing your service is cherished deeply, and knowing that your killer is forever sealed away, and that he will face karma for his actions once he faces judgement day. I think as of now you're resting in heaven, and that you finally retired after all those years of hardwork and service, since you were close to retiring before your passing. May you rest well knowing your service as a soldier and officer is respected highly, and that your long-term years of service is far more than appreciated. Rest Well Mr. Walker

I am from Pensacola, Florida. I just finished the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. Today I am headed back to Florida and stopped at Master Trooper Junius Alvin Trooper’s Memorial at the rest stop. I took a couple minutes to know his story and placed my department patch at his memorial. RIP Master Trooper, never forgotten.

Today as I traveled to Charlotte to enjoy family I stopped by the rest area that has Master Trooper Junius Alvin Walker memorial site and parked as usual however, this stop was different because before I drove away my lucky number 802 caught my eye as it was placed at his site. after having a moment in silence I wanted to know more about this gentleman so I looked up his story and thank you

Thank you for your many years of service and it saddens me to know that you life was taken so selfishly. I pray for your peace and may you find everlasting rest in the arms of Jesus. I noticed Master Trooper’s Walker’s memorial at the test area as I was traveling through Virginia this past weekend. I looked him up when I returned home to NC. It is because of civil servants like Master Trooper that we can feel safe in America. Please know that many people appreciate his, and your, sacrifice. May he rest in peace.
