Reflections for Police Officer Milburn Wilbur Beitel, III

Officer Milburn "Millie" Beitel III, sir, it is with honor that I tribute you with my sincere sympathy of your loss to your family, agency, and many friends, as well as Fellow Brothers and Sisters in blue. I know you have finished your watch, but brother, I also know that one day when God extends to me: Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant, we'll unite again in the satin pillars of the Sky. Respectfully, Michael Rayford Powell.

We Salute Our Fallen Brother

For I’m already being poured out like a drink offering,
And the time has come for my departure; I have fought
The good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness…2 Timothy 4:6-8.

The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will
Of God lives forever…1 John 2:17

Today we stand to salute our brothers’ departure from here
He’ll leave behind a family and those who hold him dear
In a career he served where all give some, yet he gave his all
He leaves this earth behind as he received his final call

The risks he faced on this final tour was one of a unique kind
His bravery surpassed his courage at last he leaves a world behind
Everyday he’ll be remembered for all the special things he did
He patrolled the streets as Gods chosen servant to him goodbye we bid

Don’t worry our brother in blue you’ll always be a part of our mind
We’ll always recall the bright face you bore one that’s so very kind
The hours you spent making a difference protecting all mankind
You stood your watch and kept the faith of one so hard to find

We Salute Our Fallen Brother for the impeccable job he done
You walked tall on duty with integrity second to no one
The beat you worked was like a battlefield in a society filled with change
Yet you never wavered in your commitment to a job that somehow was strange

The flag of our nation will not fly at half mast across the entire USA
But trust us dear brother with taped badges we honor you this way
A symbol of a fallen brother that graced our presence everyday
We’ll always salute the job you performed before you went away!
