Sadness, frustration and anger. How does a stranger convey what he/she feels to a former Philly cop, his friends, family, public? Thank you for your service seems just so inadequate for a man's 26 years on this earth and 6 years of ensuring the public's safety. But what can a stranger say other than thank you. So, thank you John Pawlowski. And a special thank you to his family who had to share Mr. Pawlowski with the rest of us.

It is a sad day in this country when a Law Enforcement Officer passes. It is true that a great part of America dies. May the Lord have this young Officer by His side and may his family receive the peace necessary to continue living.
