To the family of Officer Wheeler - you have seen so much tragedy in the last few years - we prayed for you after Denny's and we are praying for you in earnest now. John gave of himself without question. May God place him on a beat in Heaven where perfection is his only duty.
Mrs. Wheeler - as a cop and a cop's wife (and daughter and sister), my heart aches for you on this day and all days. May God hold you gently in his arms forever.
Godspeed John!
