Mr. & Mrs. Christensen, My family and I were in Rocky Mountain National Park the week Jeff was missing. When I got home I followed the story every day and prayed for his safe return. I guess in a way he did have a safe return, to his Fathers house. I prayed that his suffering would have redemtive healing for humanity and did Christs' suffering. As it turned out, God took him quickly and that is truly a blessing. Now you have the opportunity to offer your suffering up for the salvation of a suffering humanity. As I prayed for Jeff and thought about you and your husband gracely, patiently waiting and hoping I planned on send you information on Divine Mercy. You probably are aware of the devotion and the promise of the outpouring of grace and mercy. www.divinemercy.com - I have a brother in heaven, Michael, Jeff and he have probably already met. Our last family vacation with Michael was spent in Colorado and the memories I hold in my heart are immeasureable. May the peace of Christ be with both of you. In Christ, Karen in Kingwood

My heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and co-workers of Ranger Christensen. I know firsthand what it feels like to lose a child--my son, L/Cpl Jonathan Parker, SCHP, was killed in the line of duty on May 16, 2005--he was only 29. My prayers are with you.

My sincere sympathy goes to the family of Jeff Christensen. From those of us who are Rangers and who will always be Rangers, it is difficult to say goodbye to our fellow officers, but we take pride in knowing that we loved our jobs and it was obvious that Jeff loved being a Ranger. May he rest in Peace and my his family know that he was happy during his short time with us.
