I don't personally know you but from what I have read so far from your reflections, it appears to me that you are tremendously loved by your family. You have a loving family that loves you unconditionally. Looking at your picture makes me smile, it seems that your smile can bright up a room as you enter it. Although you are not physically here on earth, your soul and loving spirit is present to the people that love you. What I truly learn from reading your reflection is this: I have two other brothers in law enforcement, our lives can be busy with work and family but it is never to busy to say "I love you bro." Thank you for giving more appreciation with my family and never to take them for granted. I honor you and may your family be blessed with peace and tranquility. God speed Deputy Jerry Ortiz. Uncle Jerry, it is 2 years since you were taken from us, and it seems like just yesterday. I miss you so much, and the hurt still does not seem to ease or go away. I find comfort in know you are in heaven, but I still find myself looking at my phone thinking that it will ring and you will be on the other end of it. Thank you for being with me and everyone.
