Reflections for Police Officer Mark Anthony Sawyers
Officer Sawyers is a true hero. He went to work every day to see that the people of Sterling Heights and Detroit could live in a safe environment. A coward has robbed the people of Sterling Heights of a officer devoted who was devoted to them. He has robbed Officer Sawyers' family of a devoted father, husband and son. May he rest in peace and may his family receive all the support they need from the people of the community that Officer Sawyers gave his life to protect.

Dear Sawyers Family and Friends,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. Only a coward would shoot a police officer. I hope to read about justice being served and the coward being captured. Please take some comfort in two verses from the Bible: " Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted." Matt. 5:4 and " Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the Children of God." Matt. 5:9. God Bless.
