Still part of my life Kevin, I still think of you often. Hear you have company with you now which brings mixed emotions but I am happy you are not alone now. RIP Brother in Blue, still seems so clear.

Cousin Kathleen,
Today October 3 2016 I just found out about your horrible loss. I cannot imagine how you feel. I am crying as I write this, and hope your pain leaves and you remember the good times you've had with your son.
Kevin looks like a very nice man and I know you and Jerry are very proud of him. Having disconnected from the family for so long I never knew anything that happened. I will pray for you.
I am so very sorry for your loss.

For some reason, I thought of you when I heard about the Dallas officers. Your statue still stands in Newaygo in Marshall Park and I still have the t-shirt with your picture on it.

You're still in our memories here.

Mother's Day was a tough one this year, for many reasons. Hoping that mom is with you and that she is happy/at peace. She missed you so much. Jer is doing the best he can.....which is really impressive......but he seems so sad without mom. I'm proud of him for how he has handled all of this. Wish you were here.... Life is lonely without you.

Watched movies of us with our young kids on vacation. It made me cry and laugh at the same time. I'll cherish those moments forever. Miss you tons.

I grew up in Newaygo and remember the day you were murdered. I was just a young kid. I see your picture in the post and I know you are watching over us. Your sacrifice is not in vain.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

Was driving down 16 Mile Road and passed your neighborhood. How many times I wonder did I make that trip? Seems so long ago yet seems like yesterday. Think of you and miss you.

He's graduating soon. I'm heartbroken that you won't be there. How has all this time gone by?
He's shooting like a pro. His best is 98/100....but that's not good enough. I know he will get his 100/100 soon. He plans to shoot at Hillsdale, if he's good enough. He works hard at it....I'm guessing he will be, if he continues to want it. His hand/eye coordination is remarkable. His instincts are amazing. You would be so proud.
She swims like a mermaid. She's made for the water. You already know this...we both know this and we know why/how we know this....she just is. It's the confidence in how great she is that she's lacking. It will come. She is a swimmer. You would be so proud.
I miss you so much.
