Reflections for Sergeant Todd Jeffrey Stamper

With officers from the department I serve as chaplain, I attended Sgt.
Stamper's memorial service. I saw hundreds of officers from all over the
state gather in tiny Crandon to pay their respects to one of their own and to renew their faith in each other and in life. As squads began to leave the cemetery, an eagle dipped from the sky to glide silently over the assembly. It was a gift of grace--a fitting tribute to a gallant officer and a moment of blessing for all the law enforcement family. You fought a good fight, Todd, now rest in peace. Your faithful life will never be forgotten.

To the Family of Sgt. Todd Stamper,
May god be with you and help guide you through the tough times ahead. I am very sorry for your loss. As a fellow Law Enforcement officer in the State of Wisconsin it is truly a tragity when a Police Officer is killed in the Line of Duty. Once again I am sorry for your loss. God Bless You.
