It was 24 years ago today that you died. It's amazing how much of that night I can vividly recall, even though I wasn't actually involved in the call. Because it happened to our neighbor on the peninsula, we were all involved.

I recall the funeral and the get together after at the Brockton VFW. Why and how you died was the primary topic of conversation. Your passing had an impact on people who had never met you and we all mourned that day.

I hope you are resting peacefully and comfortably, you earned it, Brother.

I was a cop at UMass./Boston and working the night we lost you. We were bewildered as to what happened and why. We had always enjoyed a terrific working relationship with the Federal Cops and though I never met you personally, I felt like a friend had been taken. I attended your funeral and we all felt pain and sadness. It was a heartbreaking situation.

May those responsible face justice.

God Bless you and those you left behind.

even after 19 years, you have not been forgotten. there isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about you. it took me a long time to realize why i still feel your loss today. it's because i think of you as the big brother i never had. i will not forget you. you will always be remembered.
