We lived on the military base near lompoc. I was in third grade when Ofc. scruggs visited our class. That same week he was killed. I remember our class giving him a prayer. I still haven't forgot him. I am near 20 years myself. I will never forget him. May he continue to rest in peace.

After 33 years I still remember. You were the father of my friend Don who I went to school with. You helped on our little league team when you were not working, You helped my mother when she was stranded on the highway. Most of all, I've been an officer now for 17 years inspired and never forgetting you and your family's sacrifice. Thankyou
